Leadership Development

Center Nurse Executives & Center Executive Directors

Genesis realizes that it is our leaders, at all levels of the organization, who make the difference between ordinary and extraordinary performance. That’s why Genesis recently expanded its Leadership Development Program for employees who want to become Center Nurse Executives or Center Executive Directors.

Genesis Employee Foundation

The Genesis Employee Foundation improves the lives of Genesis employees and Genesis managed employees through Giving, Helping and Caring.  Together, we show our strength through our compassion and support for one another during life’s severe hardships.

All of us experience hardships during our life, many of which catch us off guard as we never think things like this will happen to us.  When the unimaginable happens, such as the loss of a family member, sudden extreme illness, or the loss of our home due to fire or flood, we may not know where to turn or what to do.

In 2005, the Genesis Employee Foundation (a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, separate from Genesis HealthCare), began as a way to help fellow Genesis employees through unforeseen severe hardships, to get back on their feet, put lives back together and try to move forward again.  The Foundation can’t solve all of these problems, but it can in some cases help out financially and/or put employees in touch with resources that can help long-term.  In fact, we are trying now more than ever to help through our “Educational Outreach” sector to provide resources, education and training to help either prevent or be prepared for life’s difficulties.
