Implementation and Training Specialist (Full Time)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Training & Implementation Specialist designs, develops and executes written knowledge articles and online recorded training tutorials; Provides software instruction to the organization's employees; Assists with system implementations, as needed.


RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:




  1. Assess individual and group training needs for internal (IS analysts) and external (clinicians, billing department, etc) customers with software releases, new hire training and system configuration changes, due to business needs.




  2. Responsible for authoring and maintaining online knowledge bases, both for internal and external customers.




  3. Design, develop and publish recorded training content including, but not limited to activities, courses and programs in corporate learning management system (LMS).




  4. Work with e-learning development team to design and organize training content in learning management system.




  5. Instruct users on an individual or group basis through Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars; provide follow-up open question and answer sessions (Q&A) as needed.




  6. Serve as Tier 3 Support to Customer Service Team as subject matter expert.




  7. Owner and author of monthly newsletter distributed to all therapy management staff.




  8. Maintain knowledge of clinical system applications such as Optima Therapy Care Operations Management, Point of Care, and Revenue Cycle Management.




  9. May be asked to assume other responsibilities in order to meet critical project deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:




  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in software training.




  2. Experience with training software applications in healthcare setting preferred.




  3. Sitting/Standing using Computer.




  4. Highly motivated self-starter interested in constant improvement.




  5. Individual must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust quickly to change.




  6. Outstanding customer service skills.




  7. Strong personal and time management skills.




  8. Individual must possess a strong work ethic.




  9. Individual must possess a strong ability to self-learn.




  10. Flexibility to work in all time zones.




  11. Experience with eLearning development applications preferred.




  12. Ability to communicate orally with software designers/vendors, IT management, and software users (esp. non-technical users) is crucial.




  13. Project experience with the cooperation of multiple groups/departments.




  14. Strong Google G-Suite knowledge.




  15. Proficient in PC, Mac and iOS.




  16. Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written, and oral).
